"0 B" sized messages and no "paper clip" icon showing

Hello there,

Same problem here: messages displaying correctly on "size" and "paper clip" icon when arriving in my inbox (IMAP), but size  becomes "0 b" and paper clip disappears once I move these messages to other folders. Also same problem when sending new messages. Even stranger: the problem only started recently, when i was already using Outlook 2013 for a while without problems. Definitely a "displaying" problem, since the e-mails themselves are fine. If you move the e-mail to an offline folder, size and paper clip are displaying again correctly. So it make me conclude that the communication between Outlook 2013 and the IMAP server is causing the problem. Since the issue is not there on my labtop (using Outlook 2007); it has to do with outlook 2013.

Hi,

I can confirm this issue exists, you may refer to this thread, read the explanation from Microsoft Outlook Forum Support:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/970c4fb5-e5ec-4fb9-bf68-399d8119a3eb/outlook-2013-and-missing-attachment-icon?forum=officeitpro

Right now I don't have a method to "fix" this, you may Press Ctrl + Alt + 7 or Ctrl + Alt + 8 to submit your feedback. Once Microsoft hears users' voice, it may be fixed in future updates or versions. Anyway, currently I can't guarantee when it will be fixed. I'll inform you as soon as there's a fix.

I have the same problem, with Outlok 2013 and Windows 8.1 only, when sending new messages, and the problem only started recently, after Windows Update installed some updates.
The sent messages are displayed with size "0 b" and paper clip of attchments is not shown, on all my email accounts but the GMail ones.
The e-mails themselves are fine.
The issue is not there on another PC using Outlook 2013 and Windows 7.

It is sad to see that one year later the issue has not been solved by Micorsoft.
